For this video installation by artist Muhannad Shono, we created a series of mesmerizing animated patterns, designed and programmed connecting the 200 perfectly arranged handmade polymer clay sculptures made by the artist. The dynamic tracing particle traveling between one mouth to another represents the communication and information exchange in society & communities.
Creating the various hypnotic forms - transforming from rigid and structured patterns, to soft and dynamic, into organic chaos. Endlessly filling the black space with white light and back again during the 32 minutes of video installation.

“The Global Identity Project” is a photographic series of social portraits taken at various urban centers around the world.
This project begins with the choice of a public place, such as a subway station, in which a large and diverse influx of people cross their paths, with different social backgrounds. During the course of an entire day, a community in transit is captured on video, with a minimum average of over 3000 passers-by recorded in this way. The photographic exercise consists of highlighting each individual separately, then organizing each one according to patterns and locating them digitally within a large format grid.

The exhibition pieces were created for an opening night by the newly launched production company in Sydney. The works were displayed as an installation on three LCD screens with seamless looping videos. The film was then assembled to showcase the whole story.
